Volunteering at The Museum

It's not all hard work

At the Ruddington Village Museum, we would love to hear from anyone interested in volunteering to help out. If you have an interest in local history or just want to get involved in helping out an important part of the community, there are a few ways you can lend a hand.

We are always looking for volunteers to help us in the care and conservation of our wonderful collection so people can continue to enjoy it in the future. Those who may be of assistance with documentation and maintaining record keeping functions at the museum would also be valuable.

And of course, anyone with a welcoming personality and a passion for local history would make a great addition to the museum. It would be brilliant to hear from anyone interested in guiding visitors or manning exhibitions so you can share your enthusiasm for Ruddington or wider local history with as many people as possible.

If you are interested in helping out in any way, please get in touch by telephone or email so we can find the best way for you to be of assistance.
